In this interview, Courtney White shares her experience as the Volunteer Director for Metrolina AIDS Project (MAP) from 1991-1997. Ms. White recounts stepping into the role after the previous director was fired and how she rebuilt the volunteer pool during her time at MAP from a handful of volunteers to over 500 volunteers. Ms. White also discusses the Hotline service provided by MAP, the Buddy Program, and the creation of the "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" fundraiser.
