Interviewee Biography: Sherry Long was a 58-year-old woman at the time of interview, which took place at her stables in Mooresville, North Carolina. She was born in Seminole County, Florida and was educated at Troutman High School and Kings Business College in Charlotte. She was employed in poultry production, as an owner-operator of Hillside View Stables in Mooresville, and as a part-time bank teller.
