An unexpected discovery of the pandemic was a new working style that proved more generative than previous in-person collaboration. Using Zoom to facilitate synchronous coworking sessions on volunteer projects led to fruitful results. People from disparate units in Atkins Library were able to contribute to the creation of useful materials while at the same time building community amongst each other in a comfortable environment. We will describe the details that we think contributed to success, why they work, and how you can use them to your advantage.
